Greetings! My name is Mavrik, and I thank you for visiting my profile. If you would be so inclined as to read my stories, I'd love for you to leave a review and tell me what I could do to improve.

I've wanted to be an author since I was six years old and I have recently begun to pursue that goal with more tenacity than I have previously in my life. Over the course of last summer I completed a first draft of a lengthy fantasy series that I am now in the process of revising and fixing. I will upload the revision of this series as I complete it, hopefully gathering some critique along the way.

I live in a small town in the United States and am a 17 year old senior in high school. Having just pulled out of depression in the past year or so, I have a newfound vigor and lust for living that I hope I will soon be able to put into my writing.

As for my inspirations, I am just a culmination of what I have read. Stephen King, Christopher Paolini, R.A. Salvatore, and so on. I envy King's strength for dialogue and description, the raw fantasy voice of Paolini, and the eye for action and combat that Salvatore possesses. I would say I am most influenced by these three authors, though countless others have likely worked upon me.

My hobbies are numerous, as I feel that every person has a duty to learn as much as they can. I love to read and write, obviously, but I'm also interested in self improvement, weight lifting, running, tennis, martial arts, video games, sound design, singing, film and cinematography, game development, anime/manga, and research.
