1Everything I Carry
"Life is heavy. It weighs me down and pins me down and drags me down and keeps me down. It's the drag in my feet, the slump of my shoulders, and the insistent frown on my lips. Some days I find it hard to move outta bed, so some days I don't get up." (In English we're being forced to write a memoir. I'll share mine as I write it.) Trigger warning: Death. Lots of it. My life sucks.

This is poem I wrote last year. I lost my grandpa and my uncle, and in one of my classes an assignment was presenting a part of your life through speaking out a poem. At the time I could only feel emptiness and pain, so I just wrote this because it was the only thing I could write. Warning: This poem talks about death. If that's a trigger don't read.

Once Upon A Breakfast Cereal
Once upon a breakfast cereal, there was a girl and a boy. They were different, but different doesn't necessarily mean bad. They had a simple love story, one that would be silly and obvious to the reader, but sweet and bitter for the poor couple involved. Short Story.
