You can call me what you like, but you should know what I am,

I am the light that you want when you're hiding under your duvet covers,

Pulling it right around you and under your chin,

I am what makes you finally go to sleep,

What finally brings you peace,

I am the light that grows your plants, your electricity and your heart,

You look to me in your time of need,

I am happy to play that part,

That part that helps you as a favour,

As a task,

and more importantly as a friend,

I am a friend.
