99The Eyes of Magic Many have said that the eyes are windows to the soul. What if they could be read the same way someone would read the palm of your hand? In Pentimentaire everyone is born with brown eyes, but on the fifteenth anniversary of their birth their eyes change. Not all eyes are accepted though.
