I am British but have lived overseas for many years so I am always unsure of where to set my stories. I've written stories set in California, New York, the Caribbean and all over Europe! Luckily, as I write romance and erotica the setting isn't vital to the action - it's all about the characters after all.
My first attempt at a full length novel was 'Offshore' which I posted on Booksie and have published as an ebook on Smashwords. I enjoyed writing it so much that I have been on a roll ever since and have branched out into erotica. My 'Jenna' series of stories were posted on Booksie and I have also published them on Smashwords for free. I can't bring myself to charge for my books because I hate it so much when I pay for a self published book and it's poorly written with typos and spelling errors. I would hate to do that to an unsuspecting reader!

I've joined FictionPress to see how it goes. I've been on Booksie for a while but thought I would branch out and see if I could find some more readers. I've posted 'The Captive Pirate' which is a work in progress and almost finished. It began with an erotic short story in which the pirate actually does 'ravish' the Lady. I saw lots of possibilities in it for some wild and sexy adventure so I adapted it to become the first chapter, and had the Pirate leave the Lady unmolested (for the time being anyway).
I've also posted 'A Hot Mess', a contemporary romance which has lain untouched for some time. Hopefully posting it here will give me the push to continue it.
There's also 'The Quarterback Dilemma' which is my one and only attempt at young adult fiction.

'A Hot Mess' is nearing its completion. I'm up to chapter 34 and I have a good idea of what is going to happen. Hold on to your hats! And thank you so much for all the positive reviews. I read every one of them and I am going to grant your wishes (although maybe not EXACTLY how you want - there has to be an element of surprise.)
