Snowfall John was a thrill seeker, thirsty for some new adventure to free him from the dull routines of life. When he learned of a ski slope that was closed to normal traffic, it took him no time at all to make his way there. Perhaps the slope was not closed on account of inclement weather. Perhaps it was not closed to keep adrenaline junkies out, but to keep something else in.

With his final work published, and the subsequent awards for it received, he feels as though now is the perfect time to step away.
