Ode to the Genius
Call it searing jealousy that made me write this piece. A free verse about a senior boy that everyone talks about, and is literally perfect in every way. Actually, this is the same one from 'Month'. He's actually a really great guy, just really bad com

Sonnets 1 through 4
The title says it all. I took the road of some of my late great idols and numbered them - titles didn't really suit them anyway. And as good as these may be for my meager talent, they only made me love free verse and stream-thought all the more... Warn

2Month fom Tomorrow
Sort story. Something new, but actually...well...good. A guy I'd been pining over asked me to walk in the rain with him...well, the title DOES come up at the end, and it's not really romance, not really angst, has a LOT of sardonic humor...just my style

1Writer's Block ensemble
Two poems - one freestyle, one with a rhyming scheme - inspired by...well...lack of inspiration ;;

Refuse
Well...kinda angst, I guess. Very old poem about feeling insignificant, and like you're dragging others with you.

1Days Work Done
Another one - and depressing - gee, I'm really cranking them out, huh? This is what happens when I go to I-con and sit though two hours of Weiz Kreuz. Asassin poetry. *sweatdrop* Forgive me.

Martyrdon
Heyla, ppls, I'm finally back! *kicks pooter* Damned ojan virus...aaanywho, I was in a poe-ish/ blake-ish mood. This is reeeally short. And depressing - how new ;;;;

4Strange
Just a stupid little nonsense poem for a contest at school. I think it was, "Wouldn't it be strange if..." Everyone at home loved the poem, including the teachers, but I didn't and never entered it. *shrug* Maybe I can get some other opinions.

4Untitled
This is a poem in a different style, Old English, I guess (I read too much Shakespeare). There's really no way to give it a title; it used to be "Body Mind and Soul", but...well, if you read you'll know what I mean.

4Writer's Block
This proves it. My poetry really IS hit and miss. Just something I scribbled during a particularly boring Engli- er...wrote at home while I was bored and uninspired. ;;;

9suicide
Just what it says. A poem about a young girl committing suicide. Don't worry, no blood or anything. I wrote this when I was down and out a while back; I can officially say I'm all better now. *smile* - 4/10/03

5Return to Me
What happens when you let go of love? Will it come back if you wait? So sorry for deleting it, please r&r!

2Nightly Thoughts
Self-reflective piece based on those thoughts that just won't let me sleep at night. (What can I say? It's depressing sleeping alone all the time *sniff* T T ) And no ppl, it's G, so get your minds out of the gutter, some of you.

5Apologies Too Late
You have a crush on a guy. He strings you along w/o letting you know he's known all along. When you find out and he tries to apologize, will you accept it? (Ok, how do you summarize a short poem?) R&R, please!

4Run Away
I was sick and tired f reading all about the fighting awhile back, and the possibility of war was stuck on my mind. Nothing better to rid yourself of a troublesome thought than to write. PG because of the subject.

1Man
I guess this is a bit angsty, but I couldn't place it. Based on something my mother, Gramma and I were discussing one day, a poem and short little...I dunno...epilogue? on the human race in general, and how they treat God's gifts.
