The Letters of Dr Mortabio »
This is a spin-off of my other story, "The Biomass." Within, Dr. Mortabio discusses the biology of the plague spreading across the galaxy as he learns of it. He also discusses some of the technology that exists in his universe. (Leftover world-building notes that I wanted to share but that are too technical and boring for the main story.)

The Biomass »
There is a pathogen spreading across the galaxy. It defies the previously established laws of biology, infecting members of all species. Plant, animal, bacteria, species on another planet, doesn't matter. Can the intelligent creatures of the galaxy find a cure, or at least quarantine it? (Some of the reviews, especially on the later chapters, contain spoilers.)

A Warm Summer Story
Do you ever notice that the better you know someone, the more beautiful they look to you? The face doesn't even need to change, you just have to love the person beneath the skin. I met her at summer camp, where we both worked as councilors. Oneshot.

The Biomass (old) »
My first attempt at writing this story. It had too many plot holes, insufficient world building, too much science for a lay reader, and no clear direction. But if you want to look at a first attempt and see how the story has changed over time, go ahead and peruse. Marked as "complete" because I plan to add nothing more, but there is no conclusion.
