Creative Reflection This is a piece I wrote for my Senior Seminar class this semester (spring 2020). Our professor asked us to consider how our personhood has changed over the last 4 years at college. I came into this college wondering if I would survive it, in more than one sense, but can look back now at the journey to confidence and faith that I have been on. I survived! In more ways than one.
Poetry: Life, T, English, Angst & Spiritual, words: 707, 4/29/2020
2An Ocean of Grace » Inspired by the song "One Heart" by Mat Kearney. Anna's been having trouble lately and has begun to doubt if her existence is needed or wanted. The faith she once leaned upon so heavily has fallen to pieces with no clear path of repair. Luckily, Charlie is always there when she needs him and is there to help her, even if she doesn't realize she needs help. Reviews much appreciated!

A Tug Toward Shadows A fairly personal piece about some dark or sad feelings that never really leave. Hope For Better Heartbreak or pain in a friend is not confined to that friend. It spreads to the friends closest to them, and they in turn share that pain. And when the hurting friend is distant and hard to help, there's not a lot the by-standing friend can do. So they bring as much hope and love as they are able to give. As always, reviews are greatly appreciated!
