Nearly twisting her ankle when she didn't see a pothole in time, she stumbled forward, stretching her arm out to break the fall, and fell... through. She gasped in shock and salt water filled her lungs as the waves pulled her under. There is nothing convenient about ending up in a different world. The Heart Rate Monitor
I have been lacking the strength to move my arms for several days now - if I hadn't, that damned hart rate monitor would have been silenced by now. The nurse told me that I should try to get enough rest this night. You try to do so with all that racket. I would "feel better" if I slept for a while. As if. I may be old, but I am not senile.
