2 Thrice A favorite autumn moment in riverside park. With the sights, sounds, and feelings of that loving experience. With those impressions so ingrained in mind, that a poem was needed to memorialize the day. I just hope that this poor offering might paint half of that picture. And as always I thank everyone for the kind gift of their time, and for any thoughts shared.

4 Old Wizard in the Sea An older poem I'd penned for someone dear to my heart, who'd expressed feeling a bit alone at the time. And being at a loss as to the best thoughts I could offer, I gifted this composition that came from a dream. I shared this to reassure them that no mater what, I'd be there for them as a true friend. I share it now with you, and I thank you all for your time.

1 Loss Ever had a moment in life that struck you so profoundly, it birthed a poem. One that left you shocked to know something deep about yourself, an insight or flaw of character you hadn't realized you had. A moment when you suddenly feel that you truly understand a misstep. I hope for any readers that share a similar epiphany, it comes soon enough to save you from such a Loss.

2 Murphy's Law What to do, when your trip home turns into an unforgettable day, I flop on my la-z-boy, grab my guitar, and try to write some blues set to "Sixteen Tons". "WHY?" Because truly deep down, we all know that just on occasion, "Whatever can go wrong, surely will" And we also know that Tennessee Ernie Ford could sing. I hope you enjoy.

2 THE VIGIL My attempt at something a bit different, I thought to see if I could create a working poem while building it within a pyramid like from, yet still by it's end with a hope it tells a story that makes sense. I look forward to hearing the thoughts of any reader. And as always I thank you for the gift of your time.

3 Whistling Near Davy Jones Locker A poem speaking too an experience I had with the darker side of Nature. And, my account for anyone who doubts what the wrath of God might look, or feel like. It was once hard for me to imagine an object made of steel, and as big as a skyscraper being tossed about like a toy, but not anymore. Any comments welcome, and as always I thank you for the gift of your time.

1 Lost At Sea A rare opportunity to post from my job, & given the inspiration received from a fellow poet, & author of notable talent (Inala) I offer this, from a stroll taken this morning after my watch. "A ships bow cuts cleanly the waves, but a turbulence is left behind from its passing". (I hope you might give my friends poems, & novella a look as well). "Thank you all so much!"

3 Circles To those who may have found my writing of late repetitive, I do apologize. It's been something I wanted to try working through in song and in poetry. Even though it's truly a story, old as time. Perhaps upon my return, I'll have a fresher outlook. And something less droll to offer. As always, thank you for your kindness, and for your time.

2Truelove does! I offer a little song I've been working on, over a few days. I've been trying to merge a sprinkle of philosophy, with a touch of life experience in a poppy tune. Weather this attempt has fallen short, or speaks to anyone with some meaning, I'd leave to the reader. Truly any advice, or suggestions are appreciated. I'm also willing to make changes, & share attribution for help. Thx

3 The Most Colorful Rainbow I wrote this poem last night for a dear heart that I was so happy to hear from, and I'm truly glad that she's alright. I have missed talking with you Lissie, and I'm grateful you got in touch with me again. You've long been an inspiration, and have more than most, returned to me my smile. You've always been a true friend.

3 Heaven In Her Smile I wrote this the other day, while remembering someone I've been missing very much. A simple tune, played with a G, for the verse, & chorus, & a C,G,D,C,G on the bridge. It's a little song about how I once found, what was for me, a heavenly love in the sweetest girls smile. & perhaps it's a memory I can share, Thank you for your time.

4 A Hole No Ocean Can Fill A story of one man's empty homecoming, the shadow left behind by love, an ember of hope alive in his heart, and the poetic plea of that man's continuing vigil. (With special thanks to Atalantea, for the advice)

5 Love Out Of Time Please talk to each other dear friends, if you wish to avoid losing something you may have falsely believed you could never lose. Love can absolutely conquer all, and true love can ever blossom, as long as it's not taken for granted. A harsh lesson I would spare any caring person if I could. I offer here a humble poem of personal soul searching.

6 I Love You A poem about everlasting love, dedicated to my grandparents, and for anyone else that has, or wants something as meaningful in their own life. Even if by today's gray standards it seems like something as old fashioned as "love at first sight".

3 Darkness A poem I'm sharing for anyone that has struggled with a sense of betrayal, of loneliness, and regret. But while enduring it all, managed to keep their hope, and ability to empathize throughout a dark time. To accept forgiveness, and to give it in kind, finding their true love again. "We can all, fall short"!

1 Lord, I Miss Her! A letter to the love of my life, changed first to a poem, then into a song for her. Even to this day, it's hard for me to sing through it. I share it here, for those who have also experienced heartfelt remorse.

4 Adam's Lament Written about a relationship, while going through a rough patch. And despite any biblical metaphor, or perceived religious connotation my choice of title might convey. Had a deeper context for us at the time. But I hope as interpretation of poems, can be singularly personalized. That readers can take something away of value.
